Undercover operative Yue Qifeng of the Chinese Communist Party and Man Yue from the Military Intelligence Bureau are ordered to prevent Japanese businessman Narita from conducting an intelligence deal with the mysterious figure H and to bring back the railway military deployment map to the Party headquarters. Yue Qifeng is killed by the star singer Xia Fei during his first mission, and when he wakes up again, he finds himself back in a familiar scene before receiving the orders, facing the same events. Each time he cycles through, he inexplicably meets death, and during this process, he discovers that there seems to be a huge conspiracy hidden within the events.
