The handsome thief Luo Ziyang (played by Zhang Zhiling) has only one working day a year, but each time he returns with a bounty of gold leaf. During a mission, he unexpectedly meets another female thief, A Cat (played by Shu Qi), who is there with her sister to steal treasures. The two fall in love at first sight and become a couple. However, as time goes by, their communication becomes increasingly difficult, ultimately leading to a breakup. Three years later, Cat works at a high-tech company but still can't forget her romance with Ziyang.
