Niloufar (played by Ali Reza Aghakhani) is a 35-year-old single woman living a dependent life with her mother. Due to the temperature inversion, the air quality in Tehran is continuously deteriorating, and Niloufar's mother has developed a respiratory disease due to severe air pollution. The only way to save her is to leave Tehran. As the youngest daughter in the family, Niloufar feels obliged to accept the task of taking her mother away from their hometown, although she is not particularly willing. She has always been accustomed to submitting to the wishes of her elders. However, at this critical moment, Niloufar reunites with her former lover.
