Firefighter Gordon (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) has a beautiful and happy family. However, he encounters an unexpected disaster: Colombian terrorists blow up a building in a bustling area of Los Angeles for their own purposes, and a delayed Gordon witnesses the fire from the explosion burning his wife and child alive in front of the building. The U.S. government only provides Gordon with a four-word explanation: "indirect injury."
