In 1943, during the Vichy government in France, a group of Jewish children, after living for a few years in a children's shelter, must escape to Switzerland to avoid capture by the German Nazis, separating from the trusted adults to evade arrest. This group of Jewish children embarks on a journey of escape relying entirely on themselves. The film is based on the true story "Fanny's Memoir," vividly depicting the plight of Jewish children during World War II.
