Ordinary girl Momoko Sugisaki (played by Misaki Renbutsu) has been looked down upon by her mother Fumiko (played by Atsuko Asano) since childhood, which has led to her inability to smile naturally. After entering society, she first worked at a kindergarten, but was unexpectedly fired after a year. She then applied to Little Snow, a medical institution that specializes in home care for sick children. In today's society, working parents or single-parent families often cannot find the time to care for their sick children at home, leading to the emergence of such childcare institutions. Although one of the operators, Nasu Yanagimura (played by Naoto Fujiki), has little faith in this girl who cannot even smile, his collaborator Haruharu Asabina (played by Kento Yamazaki) insists on hiring Momoko. After a period of training, Momoko finally starts working independently. She faces not only children with various physical and mental issues but also seemingly oblivious adults. How will Momoko overcome a series of challenges? This film is based on a manga of the same name.
