In July 1995, Srebrenica. Aida is a translator for the United Nations. When the Serbian Army invaded the Bosniak enclave and took control, she, along with her family and thousands of others, sought refuge in a UN camp. Intense political negotiations began, and Aida had to translate, through which she learned of the deadly and brutal information. Yet, despite the explosive nature of the information, she clung to the hope of escaping her impending fate.
