The story takes place in Gucheng Wushan Town, a major tea-producing area in Hubei. Every year in March, the flowers bloom and the tea is lush, with bustling crowds; the tea harvest keeps the tea farmers extremely busy. They rush to the labor market in the city looking for workers to pick tea, negotiating prices based on quality and paying by quantity. This practice attracts many city dwellers to work seasonally each year. Fu Dalong plays a tea plantation owner who is quite shrewd in business but awkward and stiff in front of girls. He portrays the returning youth, Song Daxiong, who leads the contracting of tea gardens to grow organic tea. Due to the expansion of planting areas, he takes an unconventional approach by bringing in a dozen job-seeking university students, all pretty girls.
