The story takes place during the Prohibition, where bootlegging becomes the best way for gangsters to make money. Dally (David Patrick Kelly) and Stoz (Ned Eisenberg) are the heads of the Irish and Italian mafias, respectively, and tensions rise between the two gangs over turf wars. One day, a mysterious drifter comes to town, calling himself Smith (Bruce Willis). An experienced man, he quickly senses the explosive tension hovering over the small town and decides to take a risk to cash in. Smith navigates between Dally and Stoz, quickly accumulating wealth, but soon finds himself in a crisis, becoming a target for both mafias eager to eliminate him.
