A hacking incident with serious consequences occurred simultaneously in Hong Kong, China, and Los Angeles, USA. The Chinese government and the FBI decided to join forces to uncover the truth. Investigations revealed that the hacker used remote access tools during the crime, and the programmer behind it was a mysterious man named Nicholas (played by Chris Hemsworth), an expert in cybercrime who found himself in a dilemma. Chen Dawei (played by Wang Leehom) is the officer in charge of the case. He and his sister (played by Tang Wei) traveled to Los Angeles, where, with the help of agent Carol (played by Viola Davis), they tracked down Nicholas. A deal was struck between them and Nicholas: if he could help them find the true culprit behind the hacking incident, he would regain his freedom.
