This is a typical martial arts comedy film from Hong Kong in the 1970s. Conman Deng Guowen (played by Xu Guanyuan) frequently enters and exits prison. Bored in jail, he often entertains his fellow inmates by performing his con tricks. Inmate Liu Junjie (played by Xu Guanjie) admires Guowen's skills and hopes to partner with him to make big money after their release. Guowen does not agree, as conmen usually prefer to work alone. After their release, Junjie organizes a group of conmen to bet against Guowen. Guowen defeats them by negotiating with a dancer named Peipei.
