However, during his escort, Frank and the lawman are suddenly attacked by his accomplices, and both the injured lawman and Frank fall into the river, disappearing without a trace. Ray (John Cusack), along with his son Chris (Jamie Anderson), is preparing for an enjoyable camping trip when unexpectedly, two men float down the river; it is the lawman and Frank. The lawman informs Ray that Frank is a dangerous criminal and urges him to ensure Frank is taken to court. Frank is an assassin with principles, and his principle is to eliminate his targets at all costs. On one side stands Ray, a man dedicated to justice, and on the other, the clever and cunning Frank; thus begins a war without gunfire between the two.
