After escaping the oppressive tutoring class with the refunded tuition, Xiaokang (Li Kangsheng) starts aimlessly wandering around Ximending and encounters "bad boy" Aze (Chen Zhaorong), who leads a different life under another identity. Attracted to him, Xiaokang longs to integrate into his life. However, Aze, despite his seemingly glamorous exterior, playing video games and riding a heavy motorcycle through the streets just to temporarily feel like a winner, is inwardly just as closed-off and lonely. While following Aze, Xiaokang begins to realize that his orientation may differ from most people and also discovers the monotony and bitterness of Aze's life.
