Yong Sang (played by Tsai Cheng-Nan) is the boss of the Jianguo market, revered and respected by his subordinates for his wisdom and strength. He oversees all matters big and small in the market. Qing Feng (played by Sun Peng) is Yong Sang's most trusted henchman, and although it's not openly stated, everyone knows that Qing Feng will take over his position after Yong Sang retires. After serving three years in prison for murder, Ah Xiong (played by Huang Hongsheng) returns to Yong Sang's side. In reality, he didn't commit the crime and took the blame for Qing Feng instead. Yong Sang values Ah Xiong's abilities highly and even decides to hand over the management of the Jianguo market to him.
