As night falls, veteran detective Zhong Wen (Jackie Chan) receives a call from his daughter Miaomiao (Jing Tian), who has been away from home for a long time. He secretly feels joy as he arrives on time at the Wu Bar, which is celebrating its third anniversary. The bar owner Wu Jiang (Liu Ye) greets him warmly, but the bizarre and smoky atmosphere inside the bar unsettles Zhong Wen.
