Tang Seng and his three disciples leave the Kingdom of Zhuzi and pass through a manor. Tang Seng insists on begging for alms personally and encounters seven women playing with embroidery. However, these women are transformed fairies, namely: Red Spider (Yu Qian), Green Spider (Chen Yi), Golden Spider (Liu Lianghua), Yellow Spider (Ma Hailun), Blue Spider (You Qian), Silver Spider (Tian Meng), and White Spider (Huang Shali). After they learn of Tang Seng's identity, they capture him in their cave, intending to eat his flesh for eternal life. Later, Wukong waits long for his master to return and senses something is wrong. He calls on the land god and learns that Tang Seng has likely been captured by the spider spirits, so he leads Sha Seng and Bajie to attack Spider Cave to rescue their master...
