This film is directed by Tang Jia, with the renowned wuxia novelist Huang Ying as the screenwriter, and features the performance of the acclaimed actor Ti Lung. The plot follows Tie Qiao San (played by Ti Lung), the leader of the Ten Tigers of Guangdong and the chief instructor of the militia. In a time when opium is openly sold and both officials and gentry indulge in its use, Tie follows the trend and starts to consume opium, gradually becoming unaware of the damage it inflicts on his skills. The owner of the opium den, Rong Feng (played by Chan Kwan Tai), openly challenges Tie, who struggles to respond as he is not as formidable as he once was.
