On the eve of the War of Resistance in 1933, Shi Zhaoguang (played by Zhao Youliang), the director of the National Museum, unfortunately falls into the clutches of the Japanese devil while trying to protect the museum's treasures. In prison, he suffers inhuman tortures, unable to seek death or find a way to survive, resulting in immense psychological trauma.
