Since the cult witch Lian Qichang (played by Brigitte Lin) parted ways with the Wudang's top disciple Zhuo Yihang (played by Leslie Cheung), she has vanished without a trace. However, years later, the witch has gone mad, establishing a demonic palace, mastering unparalleled skills, and killing upright individuals everywhere. Zhuo remains alone atop the snowy peak, waiting for the day when the strange flower blooms to find his lover's trace and to restore his former lover's black hair. On the night that Wudang descendant Feng Junjie (played by Chan Kwok Bong) marries Dianchi sect's jade maiden Yuqin (played by Waan Kei Man), the witch reappears, killing guests and abducting the bride. Junjie is gravely injured while trying to save Yuqin. Apart from Junjie and his junior disciple Lüheng, there is no one left unharmed from the Wudang sect. Junjie and Lüheng then join forces with small heroes from various sects to launch an attack on the witch's demonic palace, to rescue the beloved wife and vow to kill the witch.
