This film is a remake of the classic Soviet film of the same name from 1980. The justice-driven pilot Gusin (played by Danila Kozlovsky) is expelled from the military for disobeying orders and becomes a trainee pilot in a civil aviation crew, where he meets his mentor Zinchenko (played by Vladimir Mashkov) and his love interest Alexandra (played by Agnė Grudytė).
