Zhen, a student studying in the UK, lives a peaceful and happy campus life. One day, she accidentally witnesses the assassin Free Man from the Yamaguchi-gumi shooting an elderly man, which changes her life forever as she gets embroiled in a cycle of gang violence. When Free Man kills the top leader of Chinatown, Dalong, he coincidentally encounters Zhen again. The police notice that Zhen seems to know Free Man and take her back to the station for questioning. Meanwhile, Dalong's assistant, Erlong, also sends someone to trail Zhen in order to find out Free Man's whereabouts. Free Man intends to kill Zhen to silence her but, seeing her deliberately conceal information and being drawn to her charm, decides to meet her again...
