Muscular John Brickner (played by Steve Austin) is sentenced to prison for murder. After serving his time, he finds two part-time jobs at a construction site and a bar, leading a stable life, though not wealthy. However, a man who earns his living through his body and fists is destined for an extraordinary life. The wife of the man he killed, Veronica (played by Lynda Boyd), comes to him asking for help in treating her daughter. To earn money, John accepts an invitation from underground fight promoter Reno (played by Walton Goggins) and his girlfriend Frankie (played by Laura Vandervoort), entering a brutal and violent underground fighting arena. In this almost lawless fighting world, John defeats numerous tough opponents with his iron fists, but it's ultimately a perilous path... The film stars former WWE World Wrestling Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin.
