In Kisco, New York, young Toby Marshall (Aaron Paul) and his friends run a custom car shop, and he is also a skilled race car driver. Although he has just won some prize money in a race, the state of the shop's business is at a concerning low. At this moment, wealthy auto enthusiast Dino Brewster (Dominic Cooper) approaches him. Dino previously stole Toby's girlfriend, and they have a fierce rivalry. However, Dino brings Toby a substantial modification job, and Toby and his team successfully build a Ford Mustang that can exceed 370 kilometers per hour. Out of jealousy, Dino challenges Toby for the title of the best racer. For a handsome reward, Toby and his friend Little Pete enter the race.
