The Hong Kong police received a videotape indicating that three police officers were suspected of using violence against a man on the street. In response, members of the Complaints Investigation Unit began investigating the members of the Tactical Unit (English: PTU). Officer Lee Wing-sam (played by Simon Yam) from the Tactical Unit realizes that the officers in the tape are himself and his colleagues, while the victim of violence is a criminal known by the nickname "Big Marijuana." Therefore, Ah Sam decides to conceal the incident from his superiors while seeking to settle privately with "Big Marijuana." However, at this time, "Big Marijuana" has gone missing. Officer Ma Ba (played by Li Guo Lin) faces financial issues and seeks help from the police force, only to be rejected. Later, he is also assaulted by his superior during an operation, pushing Ma Ba to the edge of despair. The three groups of police officers become tense overnight; will they be able to resolve their respective problems?
