In the future, humanity has the ability to manipulate time at will, rewriting their age. In human society, no matter how long a person lives, their age is eternally fixed at 25 years. Because natural death has been eliminated to avoid overpopulation. Human society has abandoned traditional currency, using time as the medium of exchange. Once a person's time is up, they will die. A poor man named Will (played by Justin Timberlake) unexpectedly acquires a massive fortune, gaining unlimited time. However, he becomes a suspect in a murder case because of this incident, leading him on the run. During his escape, he kidnaps the heiress of the time bank (played by Amanda Seyfried). Throughout their flight, a spark of romance ignites between them. Both are extremely dissatisfied with the existing time management system and team up to fight against this ruling institution.
