Young Kyle (Channing Tatum) works in the congressional security department after returning from the front lines in Afghanistan. His ultimate dream is to protect President Sawyer (Jamie Foxx) of the United States. Kyle has a young daughter, Emily (Joey King), who is in elementary school and has become a political enthusiast due to her father's military experience, particularly idolizing President Sawyer and the White House.
