A sequel to the 2006 crime thriller "Inside Man," starring Denzel Washington, Clive Owen, and Jodie Foster, and directed by Spike Lee, is in the works, with Aml Ameen ("Sense8") confirmed to star. The plot of "Inside Man 2" resembles a remake of the first film: it tells the story of the Federal Reserve being robbed by a group of clever thieves who take multiple hostages. A negotiation expert from the New York Police Department (played by Ameen) teams up with a federal agent to solve the heist and rescue the hostages. The focus of the original "Inside Man" was on the intellectual battle between police and criminals, showcasing the thieves' code of ethics.
