Sam is bright and adventurous, often causing trouble for Encom's executives. One day, he learns that a long-abandoned studio is receiving messages from his father. Sam goes to investigate and ends up entering a fully digitized virtual world. The ruler of this world, Clu (played by Jeff Bridges), resembles his father but is ambitious and extremely evil. Sam is forced to become involved in a conspiracy-filled electronic battle for supremacy... This film won the Best Original Score at the 2010 Austin Film Critics Association Awards.
