In 1999, two Chinese special forces soldiers participated in the international hunter school special forces training, enduring various extreme tests and earning honor for the Chinese special forces. This film is adapted from their story. In August 1999, Chinese special forces soldier Wang Hui (played by Hou Yong) and Hu Xiaolong (played by Mu Lixin) traveled to the Amazon River basin in Latin America to undergo rigorous training at General Colin's Hunter School. The school has a dropout rate of up to 60%, so in order to prevent the national flag from being lowered, Wang Hui and Hu Xiaolong were determined to persevere. Life at the Hunter School consisted of training, where they faced challenges that pushed them to the physiological limits of the human body, such as maneuvering in bullet-riddled battlefields and undergoing hunger training. Even the school's medical officer, Lina, couldn't bear this inhumane method and frequently protested to the instructors. In the final test where the instructors disguised themselves as bandits, the local mafia attacked the Hunter School, feeling their survival space was being compressed, and kidnapped Colin's daughter, Lina. Wang Hui and Hu Xiaolong used their wisdom and bravery to save the situation.
