Alex (played by Tyler Perry) is responsible for investigating and solving major criminal cases. A Taiwanese girl is sexually tortured and murdered in a mansion, along with her private bodyguard and several others, with Alex assigned to investigate the case. This murder seems to be connected to the serial killer Michael (played by Matthew Fox), who is experienced and cold-blooded, always staying one step ahead of the police and managing to escape after each crime. To provoke Alex, he calls him on their wedding anniversary to issue a warning and murders his wife (played by Rachel Nichols) in front of him. Alex's grief over losing his wife fuels his determination to capture Michael. As he gradually unravels the murder case, key individuals involved are killed one by one. Ultimately, Alex tracks down a sex paradise where any dream can be realized as long as you have money, and the political and business connections of those involved are so extraordinary that if the case were to break open, it would shock the world...
