An Estonian stop-motion animation, Morten is a 10-year-old dreamer. His father is sailing to Salamander. Morten's Aunt Anna, who takes care of him, is a bothersome yet clever woman. Morten plays house with toy boats and bugs. One day, Morten magically shrinks and wakes up on his toy boat—though he is excited to be a real captain, these bugs are the same size as him, and Morten is surprisingly similar to the adults in this "real world"… A storm arrives, and the toy boat is sinking. Morten must save the boat and return to the real world…
