John (Val Kilmer) is an engineer who is about to embark on a challenging mission in distant Africa to construct a bridge. Upon arriving in Africa, John discovers that, in addition to the terrible weather, there are even more dangerous and terrifying things. The frequent appearance of man-eating lions has left the entire construction team unable to work; to ensure the project proceeds on schedule, the brave John shoots a man-eating lion, but this brings even greater trouble.
