The 888 Night Market, which gathers various Taiwanese delicacies and snacks, is filled with a warm and uplifting atmosphere every day. A-Zhu Steak, Man-Mei Chicken Chop, Guo-Ping (played by Zhao Zhengping), and the cheerful staff member Mei-Xiang provide delicious snacks for travelers from north to south. A-Hua (played by Lan Zhenglong), who has grown up in the night market, has recently been elected as the head of the night market association, and together with his younger brother A-Qi, he mediates disputes and protects the vendors' interests. Female reporter Lin Yi-Nan (played by Ko Chia-Yen) has a conflict with A-Qi near the night market, and upon seeing Lin Yi-Nan, A-Hua's feelings are unconsciously awakened.
