In the late 1920s, Xiujuan (played by Zhang Min) and her husband Lin Tianxiang participated in the revolution under the influence of Zheng Congyi. After the main force of the Red Army moved north, Zheng's youngest son Xiaolong (played by Li Ping) also went to the front lines to fight.
