Young man Sakamoto Nobuyuki (played by Yutaka Tamamori) accidentally clicks on a blog called "Country of Rain Trees" while browsing the web, where he meets the blog's administrator, Hitomi (played by Maria Nishiuchi). Coincidentally, Hitomi is not only the same age as Sakamoto, but they also live in the same city. Thus, the two begin exchanging emails, and their feelings for each other quickly intensify.
