Han Meimei (played by Cheng Muxuan) is an obscure young actress. During one of the most difficult times in her life, she meets a man named Li Lei (played by Wang Hongyao). Wang Hongyao also has dreams in the entertainment industry; he wants to become a director, but like Han Meimei, Li Lei has yet to have the opportunity to realize his dreams. Li Lei empathizes with Han Meimei's situation and selflessly helps her in life. As time goes by, sparks of love ignite between them. Han Meimei's friend, Sun Lili, offers her a valuable opportunity—to be a nude stand-in for a famous actress. To achieve her dreams, Han Meimei reluctantly agrees. Who would have known that on set, Han Meimei would encounter Li Lei, and in a psychological breakdown, she chooses to escape, causing trouble for the entire crew.
