Professor Alfred Kinsey from Indiana University shocked the world with the publication of "The Kinsey Report" in 1939. This academic foundation of the most comprehensive and candid sexual ecology investigation to date is an astonishing body of work based on interviews with 12,000 Americans. In Kinsey's (played by Liam Neeson) training conducted with students, he shares stories from his life... Kinsey was born into a family dominated by his father's control. A nature lover, Kinsey eventually broke free from his father's restraint as a youth and chose to pursue his desired field of biology. While teaching at university, he married graduate student Macmillan (played by Laura Linney).
