The film tells the story of Joe Bonaparte, who possesses extraordinary musical talent. His father hopes he can achieve success in music, but Joe himself aspires to become a boxer. To this end, he persuades the nearly bankrupt boxing promoter Tom Moody to give him a chance. Under Tom Moody's professional guidance, Joe rises rapidly and soon becomes a famous boxer.
