At night, Chen's father is shot dead by Suzuki Keiko. When his daughter Chen Meili wakes up, she finds it's already 5 years later, and she has no memory of the past 5 years. All information can only be learned from A-liang. When Chen Meili unexpectedly discovers a note in her pocket that says "Don't trust him," she begins to doubt A-liang. Chen Meili pretends to hug A-liang to take his handgun but, in an inattentive moment, A-liang retrieves the gun from her. In a moment of quick thinking, she chooses to escape through the window, only to be caught by A-liang in a residential house. Suzuki Keiko warns A-liang to be extra careful. The next day, when the amnesiac Chen Meili sees the note "Don't trust him" again, she chooses to escape once more and is rescued by Wan Xiaobai along the way.
