During World War II, a British plane on a bombing mission was hit by German forces, forcing several British soldiers to parachute to safety. They agreed to meet in a Turkish bath and used the codename "Mandarin Tea" for their rendezvous. They landed at different locations in the German-occupied area of Paris, France. Squadron Leader Reginald was rescued by a zoo keeper. The other two soldiers were hidden with the help of a painter named Auguste (played by Bourvil) and a bandleader named Stanislas (played by Louis de Funès). Despite the German forces conducting a city-wide search, the painter, the conductor, and the squadron leader managed to meet successfully in the bathhouse. After much effort, the British soldiers finally connected. A few individuals who originally did not know each other formed a life-and-death alliance, engaging in a battle of wits against the enemy while also sharing many heartwarming and humorous moments. They fought together to escape from the jaws of danger, resisting the harsh German forces with their limited strength, filled with absurdity and comedy.
