Two thousand years ago in China, under the tyrannical rule of King Qin, the feudal lords rebelled. Outside the blood-soaked battlefields, city-states emerged deep within the dense forests. Xiang Yu (played by Daniel Wu) and Liu Bang (played by Liu Ye), two rebel leaders against Qin's tyranny, lead their respective factions in a fierce struggle for freedom and peace, while also drawing closer to the core of the dynasty that symbolizes supreme power and infinite wealth—the Qin Palace.
