The Earth United Cosmic Agency discovers a planet X in outer space due to its transmission of radio waves. The agency sends the spaceship D1 for exploration. Upon arrival at planet X, astronauts Fuji and Colin are treated with great hospitality, and the inhabitants state that in order to eliminate the rampaging King Ghidorah, they need to borrow Godzilla and Rodan.
