In the Cangyun Realm, the battle between immortals and demons never ends. Xu Changqing hails from the Qinglian Sword Valley, determined to become a sword immortal. However, his good fortune is short-lived when the ninth demon general from Cangyue Palace invades Qinglian Sword Valley, leading to the sacrifice of Xu Changqing's grandfather. Xu Changqing gains the recognition of the "Qinglian Imperial Sword" but is unable to defeat the ninth demon general. Later, the Taibai Sword Immortal Qiu Wuya arrives and repels the demons, taking Xu Changqing and Mu Zixun to Kunlun.
