He has grown accustomed to wandering the streets on his electric scooter with large headphones, living like a zombie, unable to return to a normal life due to the immense trauma in his heart. Allen (played by Don Cheadle) appears to be a very happy man on the surface, with a successful career and a fulfilling family. However, the pressure of life he endures is beyond the understanding of most people, and he secretly suffers inside. Until one day, Allen encounters Charlie on the street. After learning why this old classmate has become so despondent, Allen makes up his mind to help him out of the depths of despair. They talk, play games together, and slowly discover that their hearts are awakening from suffocation.
