After years of dedicated research, Dr. Peyton (played by Liam Neeson) finally developed synthetic skin, but this synthetic skin has a fatal weakness: prolonged exposure to sunlight causes it to deteriorate. A group of criminals eyes Dr. Peyton's research, and in their quest to obtain this precious invention, they do not hesitate to blow up the laboratory. Although Dr. Peyton narrowly escapes death, his entire skin is severely damaged. The pain and side effects of treatment fill Dr. Peyton with anger and, harboring a belief in revenge, he escapes from the hospital. Using the synthetic skin he invented, Dr. Peyton adopts a new face, and at the same time, a new superhero is born. In the eyes of criminals, Dr. Peyton is a terrifying figure, but in front of his former love, he feels long-buried sadness and pain.
