Directed by Canadian filmmaker Charles Officer, this crime film intercuts the protagonist Akilla's criminal memories from when he was fifteen with his encounter with a young offender on the night he decided to go straight, showcasing a criminal's journey of "redemption." The film incorporates elements from Homer's epic "The Iliad," adding a classical tragic atmosphere to the story.
