"Yueya is a member of the Wushan tribe, and she has been adopted by the prince for ten years. Just as she is about to marry the prince's son, Yichen, the military budget becomes tight, and the prince orders soldiers to search for gold mines, but the soldiers return poisoned. They say that others were killed or captured by the Wushan tribe. Yueya's mother also died from this poison, reigniting Yueya's hatred. She goes to Baique Valley as an undercover agent. At first, Yueya faces numerous trials and finally gains their trust. When she is harmed by Uma, Wusha saves her, revealing that he was the one who spared her all those years ago. Wusha had actually fallen in love with Yueya. When Zhenzhu contracts a plague, Yueya prepares medicine for her. Later, the high priestess also contracts the plague, and Yueya makes medicine for her; thus, Uma poisons her to frame Yueya. Yueya is locked in the cellar. Eventually, all the tribespeople contract the plague, and Yueya desperately tries to save them, exhausting herself. Wusha learns the truth and hurriedly rescues Yueya. When he is about to punish Uma, Uma confesses her love for Wusha, claiming she does not want Yueya to take him away. Yueya urges Wusha to release Uma. Consequently, Wusha proposes to make Yueya a saintess (the saintess is to marry the chief, Wusha). On their wedding night, Yueya runs away with the sacred object. Overcome with guilt towards his people, Wusha commits suicide by slitting his wrist. However, when Yueya learns that the prince plans to attack Baique Valley, she appears just in time, surrenders the sacred object, and tends to Wusha's wound. By this time, Yueya has fallen in love with Wusha but leads the army into the valley. Yichen and Wusha prepare to duel. Yueya is torn between the two people she loves. At this moment, Yichen stabs Wusha, and Yueya steps in to take the blow. Yueya implores Yichen to let Wusha go and urges Wusha to surrender the gold mine for the country’s sake. In the end, Yueya dies, leaving everyone heartbroken. They call out for Yueya, and she finally awakens. Yueya is with Wusha, and Yichen silently blesses them. Later, Yueya has two children, and they live a happy life."
