The film reconstructs the events surrounding the infamous "Roswell Incident" scandal in the form of a "mockumentary." In 1995, a black-and-white documentary claiming to show U.S. military scientists autopsying an alien body after the UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico, on July 4, 1947, was revealed to be a hoax, causing a massive uproar. The young men behind this alien autopsy short film, Ray Santilli (played by Declan Donnelly) and Gary Shoefield (played by Anthony McPartlin), orchestrated this outrageous deception. However, these two young men still insist that they indeed had the original footage, and due to unforeseen circumstances, it was damaged, forcing them to fabricate the content.
