It tells the story of two Catholic priests who become embroiled in an incident and the series of events that unfold as a result.   Priest Kim (Kim Yoon-seok) is ostracized by other priests in the church for always acting on his own. In an effort to save a girl named Young-shin (Park So-dam) who is in crisis due to a mysterious traffic accident, he makes a dangerous choice amidst everyone's opposition and suspicion, planning all actions alone. Assistant priest Choi (Kang Dong-won), who comes from a seminary background and was once a troublemaker that cheated and drank, possesses all the qualities needed to help Priest Kim. He, too, joins Priest Kim's plan to help save the girl. He does not believe in everything that Priest Kim does and takes on the role of monitoring him while assisting, and together they engage in a dangerous ritual, only to become caught up in unforeseen mysterious events.
