The story begins with a newly born baby. Flip Flop (Jackie Chan) possesses extraordinary skills, but is obsessed with gambling and lacks life goals. He teams up with the landlord (Richard Ng) and Octopus (Louis Koo) to engage in petty theft and crime. After the birth of the city’s only heiress’s grandson (Yau An An), the landlord, unable to resist the temptation of money, agrees to steal the baby for the gang leader to prove if the baby is the child of his deceased son and ex-girlfriend. After successfully stealing the child, a series of events lead Flip Flop and Octopus to change their life perspectives. Flip Flop starts to care for his family, while Octopus realizes the hardships of his wife (Charlene Choi) and begins to turn his life around. Under the threats from the landlord and the gang, they still have to return the stolen baby. What will happen next? Will the story have a happy ending?
